WMS Family Dentistry

About Us

A Family-Friendly Dentistry

Our family’s focus is and always has been to provide a level of care for you that we would feel comfortable with if we were the patient. The factors affecting your teeth have always been a unique combination of genetics (your inherited dental characteristics), diet and home care, and professional maintenance. Dentistry today, due to advancements in materials and techniques, allows us to offer many new procedures that in the past have been unavailable. These techniques, in addition to your home care, will allow you to keep your teeth in maximum comfort, function, health and esthetics throughout your life. We would like to work with you to get you healthy while restoring confidence to your smile.

Meet Dr. Bill

From Lorain, Ohio, Dr. Bill received a degree in Biology at St. Louis University before completing his D.D.S. at Case Western Reserve University and a General Practice Residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Bill started this practice from scratch with the help of his family in 1981, starting off with cleanings for all of his childhood friends to now providing comprehensive care for so many in the Lorain, Sheffield, Elyria, and Avon communities. Dr. Bill has always been committed to furthering his dental education throughout his life. He attended the L.D. Pankey Institute (a multi-year continuing education program), and has been a member of the Lorain County Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the North Coast Jaw Institute Study Club. However, his pride and joy was raising his two children with his wonderful wife, Paula. Dr. Bill was pleasantly surprised to have not one, but both of his children join the dental profession as well. In his free time, Dr. Bill enjoys spending time with his family, both at work now and at home, playing golf, fishing, raising tropical fish and bowling.
