Patient and Staff Safety

We hope this finds you and your family in good health! During these difficult times, we want to assure all of our patients we are following all CDC, OSHA, American Dental Association, state and local health guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic and we are proud to say our doctors and staff have been fully vaccinated. At WMS Family Dentistry, your safety and the safety of those around you has, and always be our top priority! Things may look a little different during your next appointment, and that’s for our patients as well as our staffs safety. Some changes you will see at our office include:

  • At the beginning of each day and each night, our office receives a total deep clean and sanitization, and we are also using a disinfectant fog to eliminate any possible germs or micro-particles in our operatories at the end of each day.
  • Our office will reach out to you before your appointment to ask you some basic screening questions and ask you some followup questions when you arrive.
  • When you come to your scheduled appointment, we ask that you please come alone. Exceptions are made for someone accompanying a minor or an individual who needs assistance.
  • When you arrive in the parking lot for your appointment, we please ask that you wait in your vehicle and call our office. We will call you back to let you know when you may safely come inside.
  • We will safely treat patients by distancing both space and time between patient appointments. This might mean that you may be offered fewer options for your scheduling appointment.
  • We require everyone entering our office to have their temperatures taken.
  • We require the use of masks during your entire visit with us, except when you are in the dental chair undergoing a procedure.
  • You will notice we have added hand sanitizer throughout our office for you to use as needed. We please ask that you santize when entering our office.
  • Lastly, all patients will be asked to rinse with a pre-procedural antiseptic mouthrinse.
  • For the protection of you and those around you, as well as our staff here at WMS Family Dentistry, we are proud to say our doctors and staff have been fully vaccinated.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. From our family to yours, thank you for being our patient. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
